Redemptive Compassion is foundational to Transformational Ministry. The first step is to register for this eye opening class that will help you answer questions like these…
Has a family member ever asked you for financial assistance? What about the panhandler, should you give them money? How should the Church respond to those in need? One sure thing, the Bible should inform a Christian’s helping philosophy… And that’s exactly what will happen, on completion of the Redemptive Compassion Study, you will be able to develop your biblical helping philosophy.
We are facing critical times in America, and the Church has an opportunity to step back into the forefront of addressing people in need.
- Will we be ready when the time comes?
- And more importantly, will we understand what God has biblically called us to do when the opportunity arises?
Love INC Sacramento is offering the eight-week study on Redemptive Compassion (by Lois Tupyi). A biblical philosophy on how we can offer wholistic help to those in need. The study is a great educational and practical resource for individuals, groups, and churches to use as they work through how to live out the second greatest commandment in the Bible, to love your neighbor (Matthew 22:35-40).
There are 30 different concepts to explore how God has called us to love and serve our neighbors. You will learn a biblical philosophy on how we can offer wholistic help to those we serve.
Each week contains individual and group study questions along with application principles. It has evolved over 18 years of working daily with people who find themselves struggling with needs in their life and unable to overcome them on their own. It challenges many current and common ways of addressing need by moving away from offering a “hand-out” to giving people a “hand-up”.
This study will show you how to let people know their God given value and transform their lives through mutual participation to tap into their own capacity and potential for self-improvement. Need will not change until we change how we address need.
