Church of the week (COTW) simply means having your congregation partner with Love INC for one week to meet the needs of families who have contacted our Help Line for assistance.
These requests vary from providing and delivering groceries, clothes and furniture, to helping someone move or possibly even making a home visit. In the past, before COTW was implemented, we spent several days, and often weeks, searching for individual volunteers available to help those in need.
COTW decreases this gap in response time by having pre-scheduled volunteers (your church) readily accessible to demonstrate the love of Christ to our city. Our vision is to have 52 congregations serving every week of the year!
