Love INC introduces new location for Work Day

Sign UP and join the staff, board of directors and volunteers of Love In the Name of Christ in our annual Work Day Fundraiser!
This year we are partnering with Camp Pollock. Join us at the former Boy Scout Camp, located on the American River in the American River Parkway. We will team up with SVC staff to spread mulch and expand the native plant garden. Both tasks require minimal effort and will be fun group projects. Please wear sturdy, closed toe shoes, hat, dress in layers and bring a water bottle. All youth must be accompanied by their guardian.
Fundraising Aspect – We are asking each individual/family that participates to try and raise $50-$100 an hour in “sponsorships” for a total of $200 – $400. These funds can encompass multiple sponsors, or perhaps you have a few friends who will make larger donations. You will ask friends and family to sponsor you for a four (4) hour shift or they can make a flat rate donation. For example, if you had 6 sponsors @ $5/hr (6 x 5 = $30/hour and 4 sponsors @ $10/hr, (4 x 10 = $40 total per hour), you would raise $280 for the ministry of Love INC.
It’s that simple, that’s all you have to do. Last year we raised over $1,500 for the ministry of Love INC!
